The bus is running. But where is the timetable?

For a long time, I was frustrated by how hard it was to get a clear picture of bus connections around Kemer. Eventually, I decided to build something myself: a straightforward bus guide on our hotel website. By Florian, Erendiz Garden Hotel.

Which bus goes where? Where do I board? And when does it come? Three simple questions. Yet I found it surprisingly difficult to bring the answers for Kemer together in one place. It stayed on my mind. And, honestly, it annoyed me.

A small question, a lot of searching

I wanted to open a page, choose a connection and see how to get around Kemer and its neighbouring towns. Instead, I had to piece information together. A route number here, a time there — and the question of whether they still belonged together.

The buses are there. They connect everyday life in Kemer with the places that make this region so varied. Why should finding your bearings before a journey take so much effort?

So I built it on our hotel website

Eventually, thinking about it turned into a practical task. The Erendiz website now has a bus guide: choose a line, check the direction, follow the route on a map and look up the available stops and service information. In German, English, Turkish and Russian.

I gathered sources and contacted the operator too. Kemer Tur confirmed, for example, the KA04 number for Arslanbucak and broadly confirmed the displayed route. Feedback like this helps improve the guide step by step.

A day in Phaselis: the connection before the cove

For me, Phaselis is a good reason to look beyond the nearest beach: an ancient harbour town, pine trees and coves. On our bus page, TA08 is a starting point for planning towards Tekirova; its recorded route includes a stop called “PHASELİS MÜZESİ”.

An example: Kemer → towards Tekirova → Phaselis. Before boarding, check whether that particular service goes to the museum access road or stops on the main road. The municipality notes a walk after arriving by public transport. Plan the return journey in the morning too.

Olympos: allow for the connection

Olympos, the ancient coastal town, is another appealing destination. The usual approach involves the Olympos junction on the coastal road, followed by a separate minibus into the valley. A local accommodation provider describes this connection as well.

A planning outline from Kemer: confirm the appropriate boarding point for the Kumluca direction locally → Olympos junction → onward minibus into the valley. Our map does not yet show this complete journey as a confirmed route. Ask about boarding, the connection and the last return service first; I cannot currently give a guaranteed departure time.

Sometimes you just want to reach the centre

Not every outing needs a whole day. The guide also shows connections between Kemer, Kuzdere and Arslanbucak, and to Kiriş, Çamyuva, Tekirova, Göynük, Beldibi and Antalya. From Erendiz, KK02 is a useful starting point for checking the connection towards the centre.

One everyday example: Erendiz → check boarding and direction at Kuzdere D400 Kavşağı → Kemer. If you are staying with us, you are welcome to ask us before setting off.

An honest guide that keeps growing

The page reflects our research so far. Where we only know an approximate road route, we make that clear. A service frequency is not an exact departure time at every stop, and the map does not track buses live.

Local changes matter too: Kemer Tur told us about temporary deviations caused by drinking-water works. My simple advice is to check before travelling and ask the operator when something remains unclear.

For our guests, and everyone who wants to explore Kemer

I hope this small page makes Kemer a little easier to explore. For visitors, neighbours and anyone who would like to board a bus and discover somewhere new.

Do take a look, try the guide and let us know if a connection is missing or a route runs differently. I would be delighted if my frustration with searching became something useful for many people. See you at Erendiz — Florian.
