A Wake-Up Call for Greater Social Participation

In close cooperation with the local community and the dedicated Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, the team from Erendiz Garden Hotel visited the Association for the Blind at its clubhouse in Antalya. Together with the association's chairwomen, Mrs. Figen Yıldırım and Mrs. Hacer Akdağ, and numerous members, the delegation spent a successful and very sociable day. The hosts welcomed the team with great warmth and served the traditional dessert, Aşure – a symbol of community and togetherness.

However, alongside the moments of joy, there were also moments of deep reflection during the meeting. A sentence from Mr. Özgür Koca particularly saddened everyone present and held a mirror up to society: "Unfortunately, we people with disabilities are often at the margins of society." This sentence makes it clear how much work still lies ahead on the path to true inclusion. At the same time, it is the driving force for the Erendiz Garden Hotel to intensify its own efforts even further.

To sustainably strengthen awareness for inclusion and break down mental barriers, the Erendiz Garden Hotel is now actively calling for support. We are looking for strong partners, social organizations, and engaged citizens for future collaborations and joint projects. Because one thing is certain: Every bit of help counts, and we can only create real change together.
